How Low Can We Go?

Let us tell you how low:

We’re thinking about the state of the Canucks and presently cheering for the success of the Red Wings over Anaheim.

(But it could be worse - we could be forced to cheer for the Avalanche… now that would be the tenth circle of hell.)

    Thanks guys! See, cheering for the Wings pays off, doesn’t it?

  2. Vancouver Canucks Op Ed Says:

    You’re welcome. But be warned: we’ll be singing a different tune on Sunday! ;-)

  3. Karina Says:

    Heh, here in Leafland we actually cheered for the Sens to beat Montreal and Tampa.

    Leaf fans. Happy the Sens won.

    Hell has frozen over.

  4. Matt Saler Says:

    Booing them, however, carries just the opposite effect: a severe penalty. I think you’re emotionally safer sticking with cheering them, even on Sunday. (;

  5. Paul Says:

    So nice to see you are now a Wings fan. I am sure this will continue on Saturday night, but how will you feel about the Wings on Sunday?

  6. Vancouver Canucks Op Ed Says:

    Karina: we feel your pain.

    Wings fans: Stand back! One day Vancouver will win another game. And we’re positive it will be Sunday! (okay, maybe not this Sunday, but you know, one day…)

  7. Matt Saler Says:

    Well, the Wings don’t usually do so hot in Western Canada so your boys have a fighting chance, losing streak or not! We’re hoping this trip will be different, obviously.
