2nd Line Magic
If you want to see what amounts to a three minute argument about why Daniel & Henrik Sedin are worth their cash, and why Anson Carter should probably get his, here’s the video making that case.
Not great quality, but you pretty much get the idea after about a minute of watching this thing: these three are great to watch.

Thanks for that.
In an offseason that has pretty much sucked so far, it’s nice to be reminded how good the Sedins were last year.
Hopefully they can keep it up, with or without Carter.

I think they can keep it up fine. They’re coming into their own now, it’s just taken time. However, their linemate will still be a huge factor, same as it would be with any scoring line in the league.
But I think finding that chemistry will be easier than in the past. The Sedins are better players now, so I would expect them to adapt to other players better than in the past.
Disclaimer: I never win hockey pools, so really - wtf do I know?! But I’m optimistic…

OH PLEASE GOD! CONVICT CARTER’S HEART TO STAY IN VANCOUVER FOR LESS MONEY!
God, I haven’t asked you for much lately. I haven’t over crowded my ‘needs’ list and annoyed you. I just renounced my ties to Santa Claus, I don’t believe in him anymore. So please reward me with this one request…….. that and Mats Sundin hoisting the Stanley Cup this year, and that Andrew Raycroft isn’t a dud.
Amen.

Good grief, Zanstorm. If you’re praying for the success of the Leafs, you might not want to be bringing God into it… You’d be better off going over to the dark side and making some deals down there.

[…] Anson Carter is Rumoured to Be Signing With Toronto - That was yesterday, and I haven’t seen anything further since. It’s no surprise that Carter would follow the money, but we’ll see how he does with the twins bouncing pucks off him. Here’s a little highlight package of the ‘Brother Line’ courtesy of Vancouver Canucks Op-Ed. […]
